Shri Vidhya Sagar Gurukulam is a dedicated initiative to revive India’s ancient knowledge systems and spiritual heritage. Our mission is to blend traditional Indian wisdom with formal and practical education to nurture well-rounded individuals—strong in character, intellect, and values.
We aim to build a society where justice, spirituality, truth, compassion, Gauvans sewa, patriotism, and cultural pride are the guiding forces of every student. At Shri Vidhya Sagar Gurukulam, children are encouraged to discover and develop their inner talents, grow in a joyful learning environment, and become shining examples of India’s cultural and educational excellence.

About Us
Shri Vidhya Sagar Gurukulam is a spiritual and educational institution under the Dayodaya Jeevdaya and Sadhana Kendra Samiti – Bhopal, devoted to nurturing holistic growth, cultural wisdom, and moral values in children. It was founded under the divine guidance of Br. Vinay Sagar (Bhaiya Ji).
Our mission is to integrate traditional Indian knowledge with practical life, empowering students to carry forward our ancient heritage into modern society.

Language Knowledge भाषा का ज्ञान
Along with proficiency in the English language, students will gain knowledge of Hindi, Prakrit, and Sanskrit (as well as selected foreign languages as per convenience). The curriculum also includes the study of linguistics, phonetics (science of sound/speech), the art of translation, and the science of pronunciation (letter and word articulation).
Mathematics knowledge गणित ज्ञान
A comprehensive mathematical knowledge system that includes modern general mathematics, world-renowned mathematical principles, and integrates the exceptional Vedic Mathematics along with the superior Jain Mathematics known for its brilliance in numerical understanding—designed to sharpen the intellect of students and enhance their cognitive excellence.
Health Education स्वास्थ्य शिक्षा
Knowledge under Ayurveda includes: Herbal medicine and the wisdom of medicinal plants Color therapy, acupressure, and naturopathy Understanding of Aahar Charya (dietary discipline) and Ritu Charya (seasonal regimen) The art of healthy living Identification, uses, and applications of medicinal trees
Astrology Sceince ज्योतिष विज्ञान
Knowledge of Phalit Jyotish (Predictive Astrology), Ganita Jyotish (Mathematical Astrology), Numerology, and various global forms of astrology. Includes understanding of Graha-Vastu (Planetary Architecture), Temple Architecture (Mandir Vastu), and Urban Planning (Nagar Vastu).
General Study सामान्य अध्ययन
Authentic study of all aspects of world and Indian history, including experiential learning through educational tours conducted from time to time for students. – Introduction to general studies in Jain philosophy.
Archaeology & Manuscript Science पुरातत्व एवं पाण्डुलिपि विज्ञानं
A comprehensive understanding of India’s ancient heritage through the study of historical monuments, temples, sculptures, ancient cities, architecture, coins, stupas, and inscriptions. Students will also learn the art of reading and interpreting ancient manuscripts, preserving our cultural and intellectual legacy.
Arts 72 कलाएं
A holistic education that includes the mastery of 72 traditional and contemporary arts such as music, painting, calligraphy, Mallakhamb, sports, swimming, horse riding, shooting, archery, driving two-wheelers and four-wheelers, and more. These skills aim to develop physical strength, mental agility, artistic expression, and self-confidence, while connecting students with the rich legacy of Indian arts and disciplines.
Skill Education कौशल शिक्षा
Training in practical life skills including agricultural techniques, cow rearing, handloom crafts, and over 50 traditional handicrafts based on daily-use items. This education empowers students with self-reliance, sustainability, and a deep connection to India’s rural and cultural heritage.
